So after looking through some of the pictures here and all the helpful kind words my wife and I realize we are in a place where we can get some real help deciding how to move forward. What we are looking for is reputable brands to consider so we dont get scammed. We have been impressed with many of the dolls we’ve seen here on this forum. I will say that during our research we found a website called honey love dolls. The pictures look amazing and they seem like good dolls but we ultimately didn’t make a purchase because something didn’t feel right. Almost too good to be true. So please feel free to guide us in a direction to help us find a doll as beautiful as what we’ve seen posted here.

I’ve seen amazing Lusandy dolls here. Also WMDolls are amazing, and I own an SEDoll doll, which is great. For me.

Since you all found LDN, may I suggest you message or reach out to Dollface and/or Dollfacedolls to explore possible options. Things you will want to consider are: preferred weight range, height range, ethnic style, body style, facial style, and material (TPE or silicone). As you speak with Dollface/Dollfacedoll, consider doll companies who are trusted and have a good reputation.
Good luck with your journey. Some careful planning and research early on can save you a lot of heart ache later on.

Now first of all the pictures that manufacturers use are always deceiving. If you see a doll you like always ask for factory pictures not those glamour pictures made by professional photographers, They look so great but can be feeding bottom for disappointment. The just now how to pose them just perfect and with the right lightning the doll will look totally different special with use of AI. Thereby I have noticed that different manufacturers use the same photoshoots for their dolls. the biggest problem with dolls is that they all come from China. Lot’s of them do not speak English and use translators and there is it were it goes wrong because translators make lots of mistakes. For that I used in the past my daughter in law because she spoke perfect Cantonese as she is from Vietnam with Chinese heritage. Now I live in the USA and I will not ever order a doll or it goes through @dollface somebody I know personally as very kind and reliable person. I bought my first doll 9 years ago and have been scammed before. When you want all kind of options on your doll let them make pictures or video’s so you know everything is the way you wanted it. Because sorry to say there are very good companies out there but the most after receiving your money your on your own, that’s why I keep telling go through a seller that is reliable. @dollface has the connections. I had once a doll with 2 holes at her but and a hole in the hand. To make up they send me blowup dolls to make it up. I never been more offended.
When your doll arrives make a video of the unboxing process so they can see exactly how the doll arrives at you place. Also when you remove the hand and feet protection layers.
Personally I do not want anything electronic on my dolls. 1. They have not perfected those things yet. 2 . It breaks down very fast.
But as I have stated before I have my dolls as display items so also no need for them. I wish you good luck, and listen as much as possible to people here so you do not have to make the same mistakes that we made.
Important options in my book are:
Hard hands
hardfeet
Minimum EVO skeleton but Yoga is eve better for posing
well and have skeletons in the fingers not wire fingers and toes
The rest is up to your taste, for me it has to look as real possible

The great number of choices might be a bit overwhelming in the beginning. If you have dolls that caught your eye just show what you like and maybe some community members have that particular doll or know more about it.
One thing I particularly dislike is that really few manufacturers have ai enhanced photos. Most are true photos and show the doll as it is. But the most unflattering photos are the factory ones before delivery. But then you need a lot of imagination to see the potential of the doll.
Ask a reputable, trustworthy vendor like @dollface they know more about your preferred choices

I own a Real-Lady doll which is a sub-brand of Iron Tech Doll, I am extremely happy with the durability and beauty of my doll.
The best advice I can come up with, is to go through a reputable vendor, they have seen and sold many dolls and can answer your questions with the experience of possibly handling the dolls that you’re interested in.

I have to disagree with the first part of your comment, not all manufacturers are Deceiving, just because the doll is posed well in good light is not deceiving
Some here on this forum shoot for manufacturers and I promise you the doll you see in their photos is exactly the doll you get and there is no AI involved

I agree with Dee the Best manufactures know that AI would cost them in the end. Ebay dolls that are from entity use AI and you will not get the doll pictured. @dollface is your best bet out here. Im 4 doll purchased from them and i would trust no one else. They will know the best dolls based on what you are looking for. All dolls are not the same. Some are more realistic some are more durable. It is difficult to get it all. So be sure to explain the usage. Is she a photo model? Used for a lot of sex? Used for companionship? For me i have dolls that are more fragile than others. Some cannot handle the rigor of daily sex where i have others that can. Happy shopping.

Partly true because some different manufacturers use the same pictures. I have seen it many times sadly.
Most important to me is when i get factory pictures I see the doll how she is when she gets delivered at my door. Its also a great test how the manufacturer works How fast do I get those pictures, that shines a light on their service. Also I have had manufacturers that just refused to send me pictures before sending. Well i that case no deal. For me the price of a doll is still a lot of money.

completely get where you are coming from about the worry of being scammed. Finding a good vendor is very important. Here in the UK we have lost a couple but still have three that are generally trusted. Silicone Lovers, The Doll House, and Cloud Climax. Personally I would put them in that order but its just personal taste, they’re all good.
When looking at girls I have learnt that you look at a lot of photoshoots of the same girl before making a choice. For that dolls France has an excellent archive of old WM photo shoots… Am I allowed to post a link on here???
Then comes the preferences. The primary two are TPE or Silicone. I prefer the former but have no issue with the latter. All of the Shire girls are TPE.
Within that major distinction there is the division by manufacturer which doesn’t just come down to by styles and preferences for faces but also the feel of the TPE, the warmth of the TPE. The level of detail that the TPE carries.
My personal manufacturer of choice is WM (and YL, they are both made in the same factory). The manufacturers photographs are honest in that the girls can be made to look like the girls in the marketing materials. There may be light room work on the images but the pics taken by Mandos have not been doctored… You can always tell the pics taken by Mandos because of the way your wallet tries to crawl out of your pocket the moment you see them.
The main thing to consider with these girls is weight. Aim for 32kg or less. Doesn’t matter if you are bench pressing twice that, these girls are heavy and you have to learn how to lift and carry them.
When it comes to spec. The minimum spec I would accept now on a new girl would be Evo skeleton, standing, articulated hands, and gel breasts. also STPE is better than TPE.
If you opt for implanted hair than means that the head will be very firm in order for it to keep the hair follicles in. Think like a really solid rubber ball rather than like human flesh… Also, when they arrive you need to apply either cornflour or talc to make the skin feel human.
A great first girl in my opinion is the WM 157B which is light enough to handle and a nice adaptable body shape to handle many different heads which do come on different sized shells. For example the shell to head #335 is around 1.5 times the size of #88 head.
If you want a taller girl maybe the WM 166C. A girl who actually feels lighter than she really is.
My Personal favourite body is the WM 160A but I appreciate that one isn’t for everyone.
Are there any WM head numbers that you have seen that you really like? Myself or one of the others here may have one that we could share a real image rather than you just going on manufacturers marketing materials.
You might be surprised at how close to the images that you describe as looking too good to be true some of these girls are… But, as you have rightly spotted, there are a lot of scam sites out there that use images of top end girls to sell entry level dolls. Always ask the people on here about a vendor before parting with any money.

Thank you for all of the great advice. My wife and I have discussed it and we are leaning towards keeping Kendall and just removing the bolts. It seems others here have the same doll and I think its a good mid tier doll to get us started. She doesn’t seem to be cheap or poorly made. We are beginning our search for a new doll that will check more of the boxes for us. We will be reaching out to dollface as many here have recommended.

Sounds very good. Something for a new doll. TPE is more real feel like while Silicone is harder. STPE is a better version. There are brands wher the silicone is softer than TPE. It‘s an old myth that silicone is harder than tpe. 10 years ago this was true. Not so today.
And with silicone it‘s not a uniform jelly softness but herder and softer where it needs to be.

I did win a silicone Cheyenne she is definite harder then the TPE dolls I have besides the breasts. The breasts are very soft. TPE I find has the softness and firmness of a human. Too soft as some dolls as I see go by in tests are too soft special at the legs and arms people have muscles and they are not really soft. Fat makes people softer but our dolls are not fat
