how long have Marie has been with you
I think I got Marie in August. I’ve wanted a Fanreal Maria ever since she was released but previously they had a policy of not selling their heads separately and I couldn’t stretch to a complete doll at the time. I gather they have recently changed that now but when I was checking the sales section of TDF someone in the UK had just listed a new Maria head that was surplus to his needs so I basically bit his hand off!

Thanks! Yes my gals are a huge comfort especially with all the crazy stuff going on around the world, they offer a perfect distraction and keep me busy in my retirement

Thanks Fix, yes indeed, she turned out to be a lot more alluring than I was expecting as I’d primarily got her body for Marie but they will either have to share or Cassie use the Normon 166 silicone bod we have. You never really know whether a head/body swap with different brands will work till you try but with Marie and the Starpery 171D it’s worked better than I could have expected. I guess it’s all part of the fun!

That time will fly by, it really doesn’t seem that long ago I was working my last few months of nights at Ipswich Hospital but my last shift was in December 2013 nearly 12 years ago! The key thing in retirement is to find something to keep you busy, thank goodness I discovered that I had a passion for photographing dolls! If someone had told me that’s what I would be doing now I wouldn’t have believed them but it was after seeing some of Stacy Leigh’s pics of her dolls that got me thinking that maybe it was something I could do. While I’m still very much learning I still enjoy it all tremendously

I have more hobbies than I can fit in the weekends, and having the dolls here added to that. (I hear about people being ‘bored’, I really need to look up what that means!)
And it’s important to keep learning. That keeps the mind active and young. Make those pictures, and make us jealous!
