I love the FanReal Maria face. Is that her original Body or have you put her on something else?

Yeah me too although I didn’t think I would be able to get my hands on one anytime soon, especially as Fanreal had previously said they would only sell their heads to people that already had one of their bodies although they have since changed that policy. I was lucky enough to be offered a new Maria ROS head this summer from a fellow UK collector that wanted to use his new body with a different head so was selling the Maria head, obviously I didn’t waste any time thinking about it! At first I used the head with my Normon Doll silicone bod but the skin tone match was a bit off. Then in September I noticed a Starpery 171D tpe bod up for sale in the UK and from the pics it looked to be a close match for my Maria head. You probably know that Starpery tpe bods are designed to be used with their silicone heads and sure enough when the bod arrived it had its own Starpery head (I’ve called Cassandra). I was hoping that I wouldn’t like the head so Marie could use the bod permanently, fact is it’s actually a lovely, pretty head so Marie and Cassie will, for now, be sharing the bod. Here’s a few pics of Cassie with the Starpery 171D shortly after her arrival.

Thanks, yeah, Marie had been catching my eye for the last few days and I wanted to take some new pics but the light has been poor but she was too hard to resist yesterday

Hi Fix and thanks, yeah the Maria head is a work of art. This is only my second head with ROS feature but it’s fun being able to alter the expression slightly without resorting to any photo manipulation software

True, this season is not the best with light. You did well though, her appearance makes the photos light up on their own!
‘Arthur, I’m not standing around in that flimsy thing just so you’ve got something nice to oggle at while you play with your model kits so I’ve grabbed this off the clothes rail. If you don’t like it then tough titty old man’….

Cute, naughty and utterly gorgeous. If it’s the ROS mouth then does that mean she has the soft silicone head?
Only asking because I’m thinking of buying a FanReal Maria 155F in the Black Friday sales and I’m wondering whether to go for a hard head or a soft.

Hi yeah, I’m guessing Marie has the soft version, certainly her silicone is softer than most of my other silicone heads, I would say it’s the same as my Kimiko’s head (Normon Doll) which is also ROS. If you can pick up the Fanreal 155 with a Maria head in the sales I’m sure you’ll be happy with her!
