Ladies and gentlemen, this evening, live from my bedroom: THE SURFARINAS!
THE SURFARINAS! were a band formed 30 minutes ago in Barcelona, Spain, with Polish-Chinese Wolka Von K on the Fender Jazzmaster guitar and vocals and with former Czechoslovakia born (and current dystopian future dweller) Nuka Kola on “the Surfin’ Bomb”, a mysterious mini guitar, brand unknown. They performed genuine, to the bone south California surf classics from the 60s of the 20th century.
So Wolka sucks, pretty much. Thought surf music was easy, a few chords a la Ramones and that’s it - turns out it wasn’t that easy. Nuka on the other hand killed it, she has the blues embeded in her soul and fingers for some reason so whenever Wolka messes up she throws in a tasty lick or a relentless twangy solo that pulls everyone (me)'s attention back in. They then argued and decided to split as a band. Another surf music outfit that will fade into obscurity.
Not gonna lie, the show was a disaster but I enjoyed it very much for the 12 minutes it lasted. Also, Nuka puts my own skills on guitar to shame sometimes.

@Nirodha THank you, man ^^ So are you sure you don’t want to meet them in person? They apparently become quiet and speechless when someone walks in. Such a mystery!
@Pierot-Enchanted Right! 12 mins of live performance against 30 minutes of them existing as a band. It’s one of those cases of “they fought more than they played”.
Oh shut up you sexy brain spirit XD no, YOU come over one day! Something tells me they won’t move much anymore after their long trip from China But you can haha.
So after the group disbanded, Nuka then proceeded to delight me with her skills, founded a one woman band in the spot and performed an endless solo , Marty McFly style. After that she threw her guitar at me (wtf?) and started posing suggestively! Not that I complain about this kind of randomness.
This post is dedicated to @JustDude who helped me out quickly and efficiently with an issue that I had by using his admin powers and also because I know he wanted to see some FLASH! Ah-aaaaaah!
