Earlier in the week I stumbled upon this picture. It wasn’t this thread. It seemed like a random post. I remembered “double” was part of the text. With some searching I found this thread. This is as good as it gets. These dolls escape the doll/manikin/blank stare and truly convey some convincing levels of humanity. Manufacturers have upped their game venturing beyond the war-painted hooker and attaining the finest beauty humanity births every once in a while.
Many manufacturers offer beautiful dolls. However, every doll manufacturer needs an Evie. She represents a contemporary appeal. Her qualities are a unique combination of traits. So far this combination is uncommon. I don’t think everyone has caught on yet,. It might make an interesting thread to showcase the “Evie appeal” shared by different dolls currently out there. I’d like to know which brand bodies the Evie head fits…all the heads with the “Evie appeal” for that matter. These “sisters” here have a little Evie in them. A variation on the thread might be to showcase those dolls which convincingly portray the beautiful girl who does not look like a doll. In a different context no one would be able to tell these two are dolls.

Thank you! That is a nice compliment. I totally get what you’re saying and agree with it. I’d be happy to contribute to a thread dedicated to the type of doll you’re referring to, but i think it would be a little self indulgent to do it myself. Haha. Thanks again for the nice comment.
Evie is a real lady with the silky cream skin tone. What I’ve found is that skin tone works really well with MMX natural and firefly “lifelike”. Almost identical.
