Yes, I can’t wait! Last time was so fun and so many good memories along with so many faces that I’ve never met until then.
For those you who are on edge I recommend do it. Trust me you won’t regret it. You’re gonna have a fantastic time and it’s a good break from your normal day-to-day reality. If you can’t bring your girl that’s perfectly fine. There’s plenty of other people who will gladly let you take pictures of their girl after they pose them, of course.
I can’t wait! Already have a few things ordered for the girls.
I’m also really looking forward to the food! It’s awesome that we have a few of us that love cooking as well.

You nailed it @Mysticforest768 ! Exactly what happened for me! The event was stupendous, the people I met were amazing, and all the doll companions on display were eye candy for the ages!
And the food was to die for @badocaster ! It was an amazing week of the best cuisine I had in a REALLY long time! 
I’ve been getting organized here. Laying out what the girls will wear on day one (casual), then glamour day, then costume/theme day. Gonna pack the girls attire by day and name so I can just grab a tote that has ALL the girls clothing for that theme.
As a teaser, I have completed Angie’s clothing and accessories for her take on Calamity Jane. The rest of the girls……….well………you’ll just have to wait til the meet in Gatlinburg!

Anatomy of a Doll Meet
So. You want to attend a doll meet? You are in for a treat!
For those who have never attended an event like this, experience tells us, you have questions. Please feel free to ask. We want you to relax and enjoy this process from the beginning.
While every meet is unique in it’s own way, there are certain constants.
*New people are nervous and returning members are a bit anxious.
This is perfectly normal.
*Arrival Day can be chaotic.
Especially if it is raining! Right? But it all works out.
*Getting settled in takes a little patience.
*You will have more friends after the meet than before.
*Time will go by much too quickly!
*You will want to know when you can do this again!
In the years we have been doing this, never has one person said,
“This was just not for me”.

We plan for these few days of fun ALL YEAR LONG!
As soon as a meet ends, the next one is in progress.
That’s right. We have a team of people who work tirelessly to make these two yearly events the best they can be. Always with an eye to how to improve the next one.
It takes much planning and preparation. We could not do this without the efforts of these people!

Also…You will not need to bring a coffee pot. Coffee can be made available to you all day.
When drinks were mentioned it was about alcohol or any other beverages you might prefer.
We provide the basics.
Ooooo, Coffee. I don’t drink alcohol anymore, but I consume copious amounts of coffee!
Please let me know if I can bring something. There’s plenty of room in my minivan for extra supplies.

What time is arrival time on Wednesday? That way I can figure out driving times and how lazy I can be.. heh.
Check in time is usually around 3pm. But we are going to try something new this time.
Having everyone arrive at the same time causes confusion and stress. We will try to spread this process out over different times and see how this works.
