Later today I’m knocking out the little microdrama video for Episode 4. This one is going to be kind of a challenge because it’s a dramatic scene - so I’m going to be putting on my Hollywood director hat on as well as my AI prompter hat.

Well in my view that’s exactly what you are a Dollywood director. My wife and me are enjoying watching the episodes. Still curious what she found in that basement, its a real cliffhanger. Man I wish I could bring my girls to life like that, its really awesome

Spent a chunk of the summer writing, shooting the raw photos of all the female characters and getting the audio for dialogue and sound effects, and now I’m just crashing the video out on nights and weekends.
Hopefully it’s a product people find worth their time (and, ultimately, a little money - I don’t need to get rich off this but I would like to recoup some of the investment.)

I do understand that it is a piece of art what you are making, no idea how you do it, but it looks great. Like said I have tried to make a movie with my girls with AI but it was no success sadly

The process isn’t that hard.
The key thing is to have really good still images to base your video clips on. Depending on the setting of the scene, I’ll go from either raw photos or shots I’ve enhanced in FaceApp. If not, then I’ll load a bunch of photos in wardrobe and makeup into an app like Grok Imagine, Seedream or Nano Banana along with a separate photo of a setting and let the AI engine composite them for me.
Sometimes the face drifts from the composite. When it does, I’ll superimpose the face from one of my still shots.
And once I have good stills to work from, it’s a question of whether the clip I’m making is a line of dialogue or action.
For action I’ll use Kling 3.0 and I’ll try to load both a start frame and an end frame to harness the AI.
For regular dialogue I’ll use HeyGen. Other than occasionally generating a little more expressive hands than I’d like, HeyGen really does a hell of a job lip syncing dialogue. I’ve got voices of all of my characters saved over at ElevenLabs, and that’s what I use for all of my audio. So I’ll generate my still images and an audio clip for whatever dialogue goes into the clip, and it gets loaded in along with as detailed a prompt as I can give it (much more important for action than for dialogue, though simple prompts describing an attitude or an expression while speaking tend to go a long way).
And that’s it.
For projects outside of Oscar and Amber that I’m working on, I’ve found that Grok Imagine is also pretty useful for all-in-one clips where you just load in a still image and a detailed prompt including dialogue. But it doesn’t do lip sync, so if you have a voice you want to use I don’t know that Grok Imagine is all that helpful.

Yes I have worked with kling because that’s what @kfiaoni used for his vids he made for me.
Very nice little clip that I am very happy with. When I tried myself it did not work so well. I had my girls standing next to my wife and only my wife moved not the girls so I kinda give up. Maybe i have to give it a shot again and also check out the other programs you used. To bring the girls alive like that gives for me an other dimension to the girls. And right now I am waiting for complete humanoid robot dolls. Experts expecting them to come on the market for the regular customer in 2033. Can’t wait till they can make me a cup of coffee

They are coming and sooner then we think cause I follow it daily and it goes fast. If you watch Better then Us on Netflix then that is a real nearby future
