Nell is a DS167 Evo, I ordered her body from a UK Vendor in July 2018 she arrived September, the day of the UK doll meet, I quickly checked her over for shipping damage, then set off for the doll meet.
Nell is a bit of a story of one thing leads to another. Some of my dolls are preloved, some I bought new, Nell to get her the way she is today, made her in my top three most expensive dolls I have bought. When I order the my Evo, I ordered her with the Sharon head in S level waxworks makeup, around £3,500, the deal at the time was to get a free standard head, I order the Kayla head, Nell wasn’t released at that time. Within a few weeks of her arriving the first photos of the Nell head where released, I needed her, so I put in a pre-order of a S level makeup version, if I remember correctly that was around another £1000, the Nell head arrived and I had got three nice heads and one body Christmas morning 2018 I was passing the time on the internet before walking to my parents house for Christmas lunch and I saw a UK vendor had a DS160+ body in stock and she would match the heads I had got, she was ordered Christmas morning and arrived a few days later with another head, a Thera head.
Nell is always on the Evo 167 body, I look at her and she always seems to have a smug smile on her face, she knows full well she owns that body and it cost me a pretty penny.
Thanks Mr Hope, I was a bit exited a few year back when a friend wrote to me and said he knew she was available and if I was interested in buying her. he didn’t want her himself, she would stand around his place, doing nothing and looking pretty… Which is exactly what she does here .
In my opinion the stand more or less belongs a little to dolls. So I have no problem if it is visible. Sometimes I even like this more as it shows the real thing.
