Yeh, my daughter sent me a message with a link to Shein, I only had to click it and she would receive some points, I try to avoid such sites they can be costly. Anyhow, I clicked the button and had a look around, a bit of window shopping…Not!.. Suckered ! I’ve spent a fortune on bags of clothes.
I know some of you have great photo setups, I tend to love the natural light outside, although we don’t have many great days here, it rains a lot, I try to grab every opportunity I possibly can on the days I am free, yesterday was dry, but also cloudy, cold and very breezy, I woke up with an idea I was taking a photo, so I was going to be taking it, end of story.
During the summer I have a couple of big shade sails that I attach along the wall of my house and stretch across the garden, I can move them about to play with the light when it’s sunny, I will put those up later in April or early May ‘if’ the weather gets warmer. At the moment I’ve only got a large old parasol that stays outside all year.
I’ve become accustomed to taking photos outside in the UK weather and even more so when it is dull and also windy 
. It’s just working out what I am going to use for my addition light source. My first choice is always a very large reflector disc to reflect the sun onto the doll, that is usually a fail on the account it requires the Sun in the sky and not hidden by dark clouds. So I use either a speedlight or a LED light, my LED light is less likely to blow over in the wind so yesterday I used that, even that was blowing over so I clamped it to the metal Tete a Tete garden bench.

So today my car was collected and taken to garage for a full service, MOT and several hundred pounds worth of work that needs doing to it, it was all planned and I knew they would be keeping it for a few days, I bought some paint for my kitchen and also some for the lounge, if it was raining I could start decorating inside and if it’s fine there are plenty of jobs to do outside, I am on holiday all week and I can’t sit around doing nothing all day.
I took everything down off the walls in the kitchen and cleaned the walls, then gave up and decided to take Cinderella outside .

I took this photo real quickly this evening, It’s rained here most of the day, I’ve spent the time inside redecorating in the kitchen…late this afternoon I tidied up!, I pop around and see my parents are okay several times a week, Thursday is one of them. Just when I was leaving the sun popped out from behind the clouds, I shot back in the house and grabbed Maria and my camera, the opportunity window for a photo probably wouldn’t last long and I didn’t want to miss it.
