We know that some people in the industry use AI-generated photos to replace real shot. We think it might be feasible, but it can’t be a substitution. AI-generated photos can’t demonstrate fully of the doll in the proper way.
The method we are using is different from theirs. We render 3D models to generate photos, so the certainty is the shape in our photo restores the shape of the real doll. Combined with the scene, pose and outfit, we can provide a concept map.
The purpose of the concept map is, firstly, to let you look clearly at the model itself. The physical features, such as her breasts, hips, legs and shape are completely reflected and in line with the real doll. Secondly, the poses we make in the picture are basically the poses that a real doll can make. We will not use postures that a doll can’t do and will not use it to generate virtual pictures. Thirdly, once the concept map is generated, we will assist it with real shots. However, the real shot may not have rich background and scenes, poses are relatively simple. We will use the combination of the two.
Here are some examples of Piper 120cm Agnes. Do you think they’re acceptable? Pleas let me know. Thank you so much!
A 3D concept rendering is a good thing to announce a new doll or even give a sneak preview to should interest.
When a doll is already in production it might not be such a good thing. You can show the real thing side by side to the concept renderings. What was planned and what is.
AI enhanced pictures do not represent the doll and can be used by members showing their dolls. From a manufacturer I would expect honest photos of the real thing.
Please keep up the good work and show us the real beautiful dolls.
Using AI to generate doll images for sales purposes in massively unethical. It’s hard enough trying to find realistic photos of what dolls look like without fake AI images flooding the internet aswell.
I do not think AI generated or assisted photos of dolls for sales purposes is a good business practice. Besides that, in the examples posted of 120 cm Agnes, the AI has made her look too realistic. Hyper realism is not what I or most others want in a Piper brand doll, it is the complete opposite of the Piper brand identity. I think the actual 120 cm Agnes doll is super hot, the realism in the AI photos kills the attraction for me. The doll as shown in the AI photos would be a better fit in the D4E branded lineup.
I do however think that AI generated photos can and specifically in the case of Piper, should be used for inspiration in the creation of new models
manufacturer using AI photos to showcase realrile product is like selling a car to user using AI. It is not acceptable at all since the AI is not looking same as the real life doll ever. I will also boiycot automatically such manufacturers who can’t provide real photos and also if I 'm going to buy a doll I need to see factory photos first otherwise I ain’t buying. There is no reason to buy a doll without seeing the factory photos that really showcase the doll of how it looks in real life.
Elsa babe has propably the best factory photos since ther photos most of the time are photos taken in the factory literally
