I’ve had Akira (some may know her as Akira Kalashnikov or Miss K) since August 2021 - when I bought her pre-owned from Phil at The Doll House. She is one of my favourite dolls. My number 1 companion doll.

Apart from the super cuddly (but heavy at 42kg) 160G body, there’s something else that makes her even more cuddly. Might sound strange but I always get the feeling she’s super happy when I give her a big hug, and that makes me super happy too :hugs:

Something odd about her too. It’s like she talks to me telepathically. Thoughts which aren’t mine seem to appear in my head when I’m around her… Spooky :joy:

And something I can relate to, because my Mariko is different from my other dolls. I also have that feeling that she’s happy when I am happy that she is happy…

Akira has a very womanly body. She might well have the most womanly body of all my dolls.

Here is a couple of Akira from today.

  1. With her necklace (she’s the only doll I’ve ever bought a necklace for - 2 people cuddling just seemed so perfect for her).
  2. With Naomie and Neytiri (both SM156A.)

It’s kind of funny one of my favourite dolls is unknown on TDF. I did buy her knowing her face was prohibited (I don’t know why - she’s got one of the all time classic doll faces :heart_eyes:.)

Some of my old photos are terrible but this is the very first photo I took of Miss K. She arrived in her box all naked except the Piper Doll bikini and wanted me to help her out of her box.

I agree DC. It is a shame. The largest Doll Forum on the planet and they prohibit Akira and her whole family of Piper Dolls (not to mention other dolls.) It is not “The” Doll Forum, it is simply “A” Doll Forum. To be “The” it would need to be much more inclusive and scrap all that only allowing paying manufacturer stuff. I’m not happy they nuked Normondoll. My Lily had a nice thread going there (I think it was the most popular in the Normondoll subforum … which isn’t saying much as they weren’t the most popular brand :joy:.) Apologies for the rant. I love TDF really :wink:.

Akira always calls me “Mr Flibble”. No matter how often I explain I changed my name, it’s always “Mr Flibble”. Miss K is quite stubborn. But she is adorable and very good company. That’s why after only a month or so of ownership, she was my number 1 choice (out of maybe 13 dolls at the time) to go to the 2021 UKLDF Doll Meet. Here she is getting ready to go in the back of my car (with her Kalashnikov):

I think Normon is the name of the founder/big boss/sculptor. I saw a picture/video of Normon crafting a clay mould once (at least I think I did … my memories is a bit hazy these days.)
