Cleaning ROS heads

Anyone knows the best way to clean ROS heads inside?

I’ve not put anything in a doll’s mouth in quite some time, but I say the same way as you would any other orifice. Flush liberally with water to remove the lube and anything else, let as much excess water drip out as you can, then put it on the pump.

On every doll that arrives at my place I check the “holes” with an endoscopic camera. If the mouth is fully sealed I clean and disinfect with boiling water. Whatever the factory or previous owner left there should be dead after that procedure.

I have three ROS heads. With two of them, the standard flush method seems great. The newer one has a pressure relief channel that exits into the core of the head, so flushing that one results in water in the core, which is difficult to shake out. I usually just wipe that one out with a soapy cloth.

One of my standard heads also has some sort leak into the core, which is full of water that will not come out :face_with_diagonal_mouth:.

Perhaps an appropriate rinse combined with a sponge brush for cleaning and drying would be suitable.

Just like cleaning other orifices, you can simply rinse the inside of the mouth, being careful to protect the doll’s makeup during the process. After that, use a tool like a sponge brush for detailed cleaning of the mouth interior. Moisten the sponge part with soapy water for cleaning, a small sponge can reach the hard-to-clean corners inside the doll’s mouth.

Hope this helps!
