Different Storage Methods for Sex Dolls

1. General Sex Doll Storage

1.1 Hanging Storage

One effective way to store your doll is by hanging it. This can be achieved by connecting a hook to the doll’s neck connector or back connector and suspending it on a stand. Since these connectors are integrated with the doll’s skeleton, this method avoids placing pressure on soft areas like the buttocks and breasts. It’s a safe storage option commonly used by doll manufacturers.

Recommended equipment: Display stands and hanging stands.

1.2 Support Storage

Another effective way to store and display your doll is to use a stand with a sturdy base that provides secure support. From the front, the stand remains hidden—your doll appears to float without any visible support. It also lets you pose the doll in a variety of positions, perfectly showcasing it and making the stand an essential tool for photography enthusiasts.

1.3 Lying Down Storage

When storing your doll lying down, it’s crucial to use firm foam or memory foam. Due to the doll’s substantial weight, softer foam offers minimal protection. Suitable options include flight cases, storage bags, or sofas. You can also store the doll on a bed.

To prevent excessive pressure on the buttocks, place memory foam under the doll’s waist and thighs, allowing the buttocks to be suspended. Avoid using the hips as a support point to minimize stress on that area.

Additionally, protect your doll from dust by wrapping it in a large storage bag or blanket. It’s advisable not to store the doll while it’s wearing clothes for extended periods to prevent staining and indentations on the skin.

2. Storage for Heavy Sex Dolls

For dolls with significant weight, all storage methods carry some risk. Prolonged exposure to gravity can cause the material to sag, potentially leading to skin tears. Therefore, it’s best to alternate between lying down and hanging storage for heavy dolls.

3. Storage for Sex Dolls with Standing Bolts

If your doll has standing bolts, you can store it in a standing position. However, over time, this may cause wear on the foot and leg joints and the soles of the feet.

When leaning the doll against a wall, do not use the hips as a support point. Instead, use memory foam to support the back or thighs.

Protect the doll’s feet by putting on socks or placing firm foam or memory foam under the feet.

4. Storage for Sex Dolls with Hard Feet

For dolls with hard feet and standing bolts, standing storage is acceptable. If the doll lacks standing bolts, limit standing periods to short durations to prevent damage from prolonged pressure on the feet.

Thankyou for that Coeros. Another very interesting read.

some excellent advice espechially around using foam.I always save the 18 inch peices of foam from their packaging for use as wall spacers so the only point of contact is between their shoulders.

For example

The girls here are like family so they are always around, posed naturally. I think that there are too many to hide anyway. I have a sofa in the bedroom with space for a girl at each end and myself in the middle. There are also several Ottoman storage boxes not quite as large as the one that you show where three girls are able to sit comfortably on each one (rather than inside them).

There is an issue with solid side Ottoman storage of larger girls in that it would be like lifting them out of a bath. Really for safety the storage would need a drop side so that one is able to lift witht the legsd rather than their back (something very close to my own heart after losing my ability to walk last year).

I think that the one thing that you missed from your post is protection for standing girls left on display around the house. I have anti UV film on the windows to the rooms that they live in. I have a leaded windows effect film but you can get completely clear UV protection quite cheaply.

Belt and braces sort of person I am I also have translucent curtains to help keep the heat down whilst also letting some light in.

I would classify environmental control as highly as the storage to protect your precious girls.

Of the suggestions in your post I’m liking the doll stand but possibly for the wrong reason! I’m thinking all my walls, every chair and space on an ottoman are full the stands would remove location restrictions. Thats definitely something to think about.

Your setup is truly practical and thoughtful. Using foam as wall spacers is a genius idea. I love how you’ve naturally integrated your girls into your living space. The image of you sitting in the middle of the sofa with a girl on each side honestly made me smile, perhaps that’s the true energy of companionship.

I completely understand the challenges of storage, especially for larger girls. Fold-down ottomans are a great idea, and it’s so important to lift with your legs rather than your back. By the way, I’m really sorry to hear about your mobility issues, but it’s clear you’ve found clever ways to adapt and continue enjoying it. That’s truly inspiring.

You’re absolutely right about environmental control as well. UV film and sheer curtains as smart protective layers are something our article missed, thank you for pointing that out.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share all of this. It’s always heartwarming to hear from someone who cares for and cherishes their girls so much.
