When buying shoes try platform boots… Sorry, just went through my pics and can’t find any that show full contact with the floor.
This not particularly good one of Svetlana is possibly the closest.

She’s slightly propped up there but in those shoes she can, with a lot of care and balancing, stand unsupported.
The key is that the legs, knee’s and espechially the ankles, need to have tight joints. An older body that has been posed a lot is not going to be able to stand.
An example of that would be Angel when she was new had a YL 151C body with very tight joints and good balance meaning that she could stand unsupported without even using the wall, i.e. in this image there is no point of contact with anything.

Again, the pic sn’t great but we’re not talking about that.
For balance (forgetting the shoes) the girls with big arses and small tits have better balance… That said, pretty sure that you could get the likes of a WM 157B to stand without external held and that one’s got a cute lil arse.
All of my girls have foot bolts and as seen above Angel is barefoot in that free standing pic.
I think that the key thing to barein mind is that these girls have phases.
First they can stand unaided.
Then they can stand using a wall.
Eventually they can only sit
The more you pose them the faster they go through those phases which is why I think of my girls as the heads rather than becoming too attached to the bodies.
So, short answer. I don’t photoshop out the doll stand as I don’t have a doll stand.
Actualy, talking about using the environment as the stand reminded me of an old pic of Charlie.

note that she is barefoot stood on one foot but using the door behind her to pivot her weight.
You get used to the bodies that you live with bt the jey is that you think ahead os what you want the body to do before you buy it. Not all girls out there are as easy to pose as th 157B or 151C. That said, one of my personal photography heroes is Karrot. His photography of Maddie you would truly believe that she is breathing but he works around her weight the same as he worked around the original Xiaoli’s lack of ankle strength. The girl dictates how you photograph her.
Another one I am reminded of is lil River. She doesn’t have two limbs in her body that could hold a pose but using the environment you can bring her to still life in pictures.i.e.

the core riule is simply know your girl and photograph around her limitations rather than trying to get her to do things that she cannot.
I’m not a good photographer (see above for evidence) but I love my girls and work with them to bring them to life in the pics (and around the house). My advice would be to buy the right body for what you want and work with it to fully understand it.
Hope that helps. Others will have a lot more expert knowledge than myself.
