I thought I’d ask the question because I have a curious tale to tell.
My best smelling doll is my 2020 6Ye 166A (Melina.) I bought her second hand mid 2021. But she’s always had a very nice smell. And I put this down to her having lived previously on a farm (that’s where I think her previous owner lived), but she does not smell like a pig sty or cowpat, she smells really nice. I think the farm had old buildings and somehow she’s absorbed like a musty (I think that’s the right word) smell, and she’s never lost that smell.
Or I could be talking a load of baloney and 6Ye dolls all smell great.
And yes, I love sleeping with her and smelling her scent.

For me its the scent of my two Piper TPE dolls (pre factory change).
Out of the box they both had a soapy, flowery, a bit buttery smell, so hard to describe, but i loved it from the start. Some of it got lost, they dont smell as intense anymore, and some gets covered by the powder scent, but i still can notice it easily.
As far as the scent of a doll is concerned, I’m only thinking of Gynoid, they have a very pleasant scent in themselves, you don’t need perfume in my opinion, I have no idea what they do, maybe add perfume to the silicone mixture, but I’m happy every time I get a new Gynoid
Of the three I’ve had, the first two smelled quite nice right out of the box. My most recent one took some airing out. I’m not very familiar with ladies scents but for like $20 on amazon I grabbed a sample pack and can try some out on the clothes and wig until I settle on a signature scent.
The last 2 i bought are s-tpe but i hardly noticed the smell as im so used to it by now. When my brother visits he says he can smell it but doesnt find it unpleasant.
Right ! A good perfume will enhance the experience quite a lot i noticed. I bought her her own perfume sweet sugar by GUESS it adds that final bit of sexyness
I gave Sophie a bath the other day and wanted a really deep clean so used the washing up liquid I had in the house. Later that day after she’s all powdered and dressed I’m kissing her forehead and smell a sweet scent in her hair. I was curious as I hadnt sprayed anything on her hair…
It was the scent from the washing up liquid bubbles I put in her hair for the photos! Cherry Blossom!
now I need to find Cherry Blossom as her signature scent…
Cherry Blossom should be fairly easy to find. We are in different markets but I see essential oils, body sprays and bath products from many different sources!
My PIB has a really nice sweet, flowery smell. It’s fascinating because when she was brand new she had that very strong unpleasant odor early TPE dolls had. I literally had to keep her in another room for the first 2 weeks.
