People have asked me about mine pretty often, I don’t thing I’ve shared it on the forum yet. This is my posing contraption, its made out of pipes and couplers.
I can use them by themselves and lean the doll against it, or I can combine them for for more complex poses.
First I suspend her with the chainhoist to get her lowerbody posed, then I can attach any configuration of pipes to support her, often at the armpits and between her legs. Then I let her down and get the hoist out of the frame and finish posing her upper body. The only thing left in the picture is the horizontal bar that I remove with a composite photo.
Its a bit of a set up, but very versatile for any pose I can come up with, and it minimizes work on photoshop.

I made this one from an old chrome mannequin display base I had lying around and a broom handle. Took all of 10 minutes.

I made a stand for hanging my girls bodies. Its great for cleaning and dressing them but obviously no use for photography so i made a fold up stand that supports them between the legs. Ive always been pretty good with my hands plus i have the tools so why not . My welding is terrible but its solid lol

I’ve been considering a "crotch stand’ myself. Would you be able to post an example of what is possible with it? The most impressive pose you’ve achieved with it?

Sorry for the late reply. To be honest ive not used it for any adventurous poses. I mostly use it for portrait work and i do the full body shots on the bed

So more of an alternative to leaning them against something? I’ve always wondered if that style would be good for bent leg poses or single leg poses and whether or not putting most or all of the weight on the crotch was asking for trouble.

I made mine couples of years ago,because I wanted Angelina to stand up with her heels wherever i wanted 
.
It was screwed on her skeleton nut between the shoulder blades.
I could tight it up or down with any angle so she could be bending a bit forward or backward.
It did the job, except for that 3rd leg, not good for pictures
