Yeah, I have something very similar for transporting boxes between my flat and the garage or shed. Works fine but I just tend to lift unboxed girls to their required location by hand. You could use one of those I suppose but I’d want to use a ratchet strap around the body and frame of the barrow/truck before use.
Thank you. I hand-carry them too at the moment but I’m not getting any younger (I’m definitely 60+) and I’m looking for a good way to move them ‘later’. My house is a 1 floor apartment so they won’t be moved over giant distances.
I used to carry the girls either bearhug or firemans lift depending on the model but since having a serious spinal issue at the start of 2024 (build up of fluid inside the spine switched my legs off) they now get moved around either on an office chair like the one illustrated (costs around £60) with a handle in the back. Or using a wheelchair now that I don’t need it anymore (Mine again is the one illustrated. Only cost £119).
The issue with a trolley is that you need to strap the girl to it using elasticated hooks where chairs don’t need that.
I have a patient transport chair, but I rarely use it anymore. I fabricated some rolling display stands for my gals……….all weigh from 89 lbs to 103 lbs.
Wow! That is a serious moving platform you made. I love the embellishments setup!
It would be great if you could send a pamphlet but DON’T HURRY! I know you’re kind of busy with a gazillion things. Or maybe a few more since this morning.
