A lot of you dont know me that well as im not a member on TDF
Its probably more my story i guess but its all because of Emma. Back in 2019 i was at a bit of a low point. I’d been single for a year and wasnt realy enjoying life to be honest. I’d always fantasised about having a doll after seeing them first in 2000 but there was no way my partner would go for it lol. December 2019 i had no one telling me what to do and i ordered my first doll. i’d not felt so excited in a long time. 11 weeks went by, no factory pics and my emails were taking ages to be replied to so i cancelled my order and got a refund. Maybe it was fate but i went to a different vendor and ordered a different doll completely. In march 2020 Emma arrived. wm166c with a 273 head. I was blown away and my life changed in that instant.
I joined the UKLDF where i made some great friends and discovered that there was a lot of fun to be had taking photos so i picked up some cheap used gear and started to learn with help from my forum friends.
After a couple of years her body started to suffer with loose joints and the usual broken finger wires so becuase she meant so much to me i bought her a new wm164d
I must say, You’re a quick study in the photography department. Your photos look like you’ve been a photographer all your life!
Emma is so lovely It’s no wonder you have so much fun photographing her!
It always amazes me how dolls become so much a part of everyone’s life. It doesn’t seem to matter where you come from or why. Once you are eye to eye with your own special doll, your world changes completely.
Thanks for the comments everyone. Yea doll life really has changed mine for the better.
Appreciate the comments about my photography too. Spent a lot of hours watchin tutorial videos and studying photos online to work out the lighting. Its been real fun to learn
