Green screen for doll photography?

Honestly, I’d say your place is better than the background…

That’s very nice indeed.

My setup has 2 stands as well, and 4 tubes. I used 3 (each is 80cm long) because 4 is too wide for my living room in the spot where I have space for it. The background is 3m wide so I just hung it over the 2.40m tubing, it’s too wide to push the tubes through the upper ‘fold’ of the fabric or I’d have to move that all the way to the side. I may look for something 2.40m wide that I can roll up on it. Or simply cut off the excess part of the one I have. That might decrease the chances of wrinkling too. :thinking:

Thank you for triggering these ideas!

You’re welcome. For wide backdrops, 20–25 mm aluminum tubes are not ideal for two reasons:

  • They bend under the weight of the backdrop;
  • Rolling up baskground is tedious.
    That is why I prefer to use PVC tubes: 32 mm for backdrops up to 2 m wide, and 50 mm for wider backdrops.

Thank you so much!:folded_hands: This shoot was pretty exhausting for me—I’m not exactly young anymore—but I was happy to have done it with my four actresses!:grinning_face:
