Hadleigh and I hopped into the wayback machine to relive two great summer in Seattle back in 1992 & ‘93 with some crankin’ music courtesy of Bose. Lollapaloozas at Kitsap County Fairgrounds and The Gorge. Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers were among the headliners. So, I ask Hadleigh what she wants to wear and she says “Plaid, of course”. Wig is human hair lacefront from Jon Renau, eyebrows from Headcovers, lip creme is “Voodoo” from Ciaté Of London. Boots and studded cuffs from Dark In Closet, stockings from Amoré PinUp Boutique in Jerome, AZ, miniskirt from Rebel Circus, midriff top from RetroStage.

Thanks, Mr_Fix_It. Their wardrobe currently represents about 80% of the clothing and accessories in my place. Full closet from floor to ceiling, dresser, jewelry armoir, makeup vanity, large totes under the bed for hats, belts, and corsets. Their supplies take up most of the bathroom storage. I shoot images of everything that I buy for them so that I can just review the wardrobe folders when contemplating new outfits. I don’t think that I’ve gone completely mad since I do have a small three-drawer dresser in the hobby room for my own clothes just in case I have to go out in public.

The Facelift album art with the band’s signatures is bad ass. Still my favorite AIC album. How can you not get pumped when the first chord of “It Ain’t Like That” hits.

Thanks, Feck. The heels are chunky, but not very high, and ‘Facelift’ is still my favorite AIC album. Though I do like them all and it’s fun to spend an afternoon starting at the beginning and letting them play through.

Listening to full albums is lost in todays world. I’m guilty of it too since streaming became the norm. I’ve started fighting back though. My whole 90 something gig CD collection is now on my phone. Been listening to whole albums at work for the last four or five months. It’s been a fun ride. Reminds me of being a kid reading the liner notes and learning lyrics while the album is rocking in my headphones.

It’s amazing what a regime change can do. As seen previously, Hadleigh was a brunette, now she’s natural blonde. She is so chameleonic that I often have difficulty figuring what to do with her look, but I’ve yet to find one that I don’t like on her. Gadzooks!
