Irontech 168cm Silicone

The Irontech 168cm silicone (ITSRS-168/A) was introduced in back at the start of 2022 and I have fancied one ever since they came out. Every time I see a new promo photoshoot it will set me off wanting one again.

Anyhow, I was bored out of my mind over Christmas and decided to treat myself to a new doll.I placed my order with Dollface at the very end of December.

I wanted her based on this photoshoot.

I’ve got several other silicone Irontech doll models, they all have got different options on them, so I pretty much knew which options I wanted and didn’t require on the IT 168cm.

I wanted the S17 Luna head like in photo above, make-up to match and made in hard silicone, with a wig not implanted hair. A wig similar to photo, same colour mechanical movable eyes.

There was a free second head in the Christmas sale promotion, I chose the S18 Hazel head in hard silicone with brown eyes like the photo below.

The other options I chose were…
Body Softness: Standard
Back connector: Yes
Skin tone: Same as photo
Hands ~ Articulated finger joints with hard hands please
(I am not a fan of the ball Jointed version, so I didn’t have the free ball joint option.)
Copper wire toes : not required
Finger and toe nails, Same as the photo please
Gel breasts are default
Gel Belly: not required
Gel Butt No - Standard
Nipple colour same as the photo please
Areola Size 4cm .
Implanted Pubic hair ~ No
Vagina Colour - The same as photo .
Vagina Type - Fixed
Auto clamp and suck - Not required
Hard Standing Feet without bolts Yes
Skeleton- Evo
Skeleton Tightness -Tight-Photography
Other electric functions are also a No
Extra Painting. No

TBH, I have IT166 minus, she’s one of my favourite dolls, apart from the skin tone, back connector and joint tightness her options are pretty much the same.

Ordering at the time that I did, the last day of December, we knew we would hit CNY and there would likely to be a slight delay.

I received the factory photos on the 11th February 2025.

To be honest, I her eye shape, make-up and eyelashes weren’t right,
So Irontech made adjustments to the head several times to get it how we wanted her, this took a few extra days back and forth with adjustments and photos, but it was soon all sorted.

I got the tracking number on 19th Feb, she was traveling by Air the delivery time is to the UK is around 15-20 working days.

The waiting starts again…

18:16hrs Thursday 6th March, (11 working days later) she arrived at Stanford Le Hope and starter her journey up the country

She was delivered here in the afternoon of Friday 7th March.

The doll, 2 heads, accessories and packaging weighs around 54Kg so me and UPS delivery driver carried her and put her down here.

I don’t lift a +40kg doll out of a box from that position, I will take the heads and the accessories out, then I’ll close the box and flick her up so she’s standing in the box, then carry her into the kitchen and then lift her out and flip back on the kitchen table.

Now I will close the box back up and take her into the kitchen,

I like this shot, it show how small my kitchen is and also how big my belly is.

The following day I got around taking a few more photos, this time with my camera instead of my phone

S17 Luna was taken in the sunlight

S18 Hazel head photo was taken later in the afternoon, there was less sun at that time.

Can you compare the joint tension and mobility of irontech and real-lady to other brands you own? Wondering how good their skeletons are.

I’ve found the skeletons on the Irontech to be pretty damn good, the new 168cm I will report back on in a month or so, I have not played with her a lot, I have done three sets of photos of her and that is all, she was ordered with tighter (photography) joints, they are a bit tighter than the other IT dolls I have here.

The 166 minus body I have had for 18 months now, I bought her from the market place on another site so she’s actually a little over two years old, she’s the doll body that I have mostly photographed recently and dragged her everywhere (often with the Luna head), she has held up perfectly well to all the manhandling over that time, her skeleton is still moving smoothly, I have had no functional issues with her skeleton and all her joints hold perfectly, I also have an IT164 and an IT166c they are both over 12 months old and an IT165 which is now 7 months old, I have not had any issue with those dolls either, they all have the Evo skeleton, their range of movement is alike to most of other silicone doll brands.

The Reallady is the only one of IT dolls with any slight joint issue, she’s 18 months old and I spent the first 12 months of the last year dressing and undressing her then taking photos of her, we have had a couple of mishaps here and there, her left hip joint is now slightly loose, but only to the point it slowly descends if she’s laying on her back and I lift her leg up. I think she’s 46.5kg (102.5lbs) when she’s fully dressed, I struggle with her weight a little, and over the time we have tripped over the rug, the door frame and I have caught her legs on armchair many a time, I am surprised she’s done so well.

I think Irontech skeletons are very good really, I don’t think I have got a silicone doll with a better one, I have got a few that are a lot worse, a couple have came loose in a very short time.

I’d agree, in my experience Irontech make the best skeletons. That said, I haven’t tried some of the newer brands on the market. I would say that certainly their TPE sculpts are heavy but perhaps worth the odd Kilo or 3.

I got asked this morning what was the weight my Irontech 168 .
TBH I have never weighed her, but I assumed she was just under 40kg (body and head). When I lift her up she feels lighter than some of the other dolls I have and I know they are a few kilos heavier than what she should be.

I believe IT168 weight should be 36.5kg plus her head, around an additional 2.5kg - 3kg would need adding on for the head. There could be various other additional kilos added for gel features or electronic gizmos, although I didn’t have any of those options.

This morning I was lazy and just weighed her like this

and surprisingly she was this. :astonished:

My car was having some work done to it at the car garage, I was waiting for a phone call to say it was fixed and I could go and collect it. I got bored waiting and look what happens.

… there were a few things bothering me…
I always weigh a doll in whatever she is wearing and also wearing the wig, because that is generally what I am going to lifting and not an headless doll, but I have assumed all day the head weighs 3kg and I don’t know that for a fact.
I decided to weigh her again without the head, (still in canvas shoe) like this.

Her body only is 40.6kg

Let call it 40.kg, because the same canvas shoes in black weigh 562grams

now I wonder what the S17 Luna head weighs without her earrings and wig.
2.121kg

Then I had the stupid idea to get another S17 Luna head and weigh it .
1.993kg only a slight difference.

So I got another Luna head just to check. 2.068Kg

They are all pretty consistent, so I went and got another Luna head.
This one weighs slightly more 2.440kg

and the next one 2.395kg

Now all those S17 Luna heads above are hard,
This next Luna head is soft silicone (None ROS) 2.087kg

And finally another hard S17 Luna head 2.447

I expected the difference in weight between head model numbers, but not within the same head model number and type of material. :astonished:

You really shouldnt write their weights on their foreheads like that, Tommo. Thats what post-it notes are for…

Same as when you know you wont remember her name in the morning

This may be an odd request but… can you send me a little video of you moving her toes around??

If I’m not mistaken, this sculpt doesn’t have wire toes. I’ve only ever had TPE dolls with the super floppy toes lol and I’m interested in this sculpt and I’m curious what a silicone hard foot without wire toes moves like.

Thanks in advance! :hugs:

Hi @limedoll
Yes, that is correct, she doesn’t have wired toes. I do have wired toes in some of my other silicone dolls, I have just come to realise that I never pose their toes and their feet go from one pair of shoes and socks to the next without looking at them much.

This video was longer, but the site only allows 40MB files, so I have cut it down a lot!, hopefully you can see what you need to from this.
The toes don’t flop like TPE, they spring and bounce.

If you need anymore info, or a better video, just let me know.

I was deleting the videos off my mobile and noticed this which might be worth posting.

This IT168 is standard softness Silicone with hard feet, it is hard to see the interchange, the Dark Tan tone might help too. I have a natural soft silicone IT 166 with hard standing feet, the interchange is a little more noticeable on her.
