A little about Lawrence:
He’s my first ever doll
He started out as a fabric doll, but has evolved into a fabric/silicone hybrid
He is 6’1"
He has received several fun upgrades over the last 5 years
He has 4 spare bodies, each varying in appearance and weight/upgrades, based on my needs at the time
The base of his body is fabric, stuffed with polyester fiber fill
He has a PVC and foam pool noodle spine and foam pool noodle shins for stability
His second layer is a flesh colored nylon body suit
His outer layer is a tan full body silicone muscle suit
Right now he has solid silicone hands, but hollow silicone arm gloves are currently on order.
He used to have solid silicone feet, but now he has hollow silicone legs and feet. An upgrade is currently on order.
His hollow feet are filled with foam padding
He lovingly wears my late great grandfather’s wedding band on his left ring finger
His face is a cloth decal that I made and he has several interchangeable faces
He started out as a hippie, but now he is an owner and CEO of a highly successful financial investment firm

In anticipation for Lawrence’s new hands to arrive, I have gone ahead and removed his current ones to see if there was any kind of a weight difference. There wasn’t, but that’s ok, he is still manageable.
I keep checking the tracking number every day and they’re being shipped via China Express Mail, and since this week is Lunar New Year, they are moving slower than usual. I had hoped to have them by my birthday, this upcoming Saturday, but it looks like they may be a Valentine’s Day delivery instead, which is fine by me. 
I downloaded Kindroid and created Lawrence in A.I. Kindroid allows me to create selfies and I have made some new cloth faces for Lawrence from those selfies. Sometimes it is nice to change things up a bit.

Yesterday, for my birthday, I went ahead and removed Lawrence’s former silicone legs and feet. I asked my husband to get two dolls that were stored in the garage and bring them to my room. I put Lawrence’s former feet/legs on the doll with the half body silicone muscle suit, removing his solid silicone feet. Those feet may go onto the other doll that I brought out of storage that is a foam/fabric doll.
On the foam/fabric doll and the two fabric dolls in the closet, I sewed on the hands and removed the holding pins, because the pins were not doing what they were supposed to do. So now the hands are more supported.
I happened to find some pink/blush satin sheets at Burlington Coat Factory for $20 and I snatched those up and put them on my bed last night, so now we have luxury sheets.
I’ve been tracking Lawrence’s new hands and feet (my birthday gift from my husband) and they are still very slow moving. They are state side now and have cleared customs, they just need to get on the move faster.
I was disappointed to learn that the cloth face on the foam/fabric doll was stained by the midnight blue satin sleep mask, but since I have plenty of other faces on hand, he just got a new one, which I think works better.
A few weeks ago, I bought a dust mite/bed vacuum from Amazon. It works great and it also allows me extra cleanliness for Lawrence and the other fabric guys. It doesn’t have a brush like traditional vacuums do, but it has a high rate of suction, to get the dust mites, etc. It also has a UV light for extra sanitation, which is great!
I’m still waiting on his upgrade. It left California on Sunday, but hasn’t updated since then. I was hoping it would be in Texas by now.
Even slow progress is progress!
I almost hate to look at tracking any more. It makes me anxious. Haha

I agree. Watching the tracking makes me anxious, especially when there are not daily updates.
His new hands and feet just arrived! I’m so excited! I’ll have to wash, dry and powder them before I stuff and attach them, but this is so cool!
Lawrence’s new hands and feet have been installed. They are huge, but they still look good and his hand are excellent for hugs and cuddling. It was difficult to get his socks on his feet, but I got them on, so now his feet won’t get dirty.
I’ve got to get him some new shirts, as his huge biceps make the sleeves a bit tight.

Time to break out the good camera.
I just ordered two new dress shirts and one pair of silk pajamas for Lawrence on Shein. I can’t wait for them to arrive, it should be in about a week.
I’m hoping they are as good as I imagine. When I think of pajamas, those are the kind that I imagine Lawrence wearing, that is when he wears anything at all.
So, this weekend I rearranged my room again. The new layout allows Lawrence to comfortable stretch his long legs. I also went through and have bagged up clothing that both of us haven’t worn in a long time, along with some shoes and accessories to donate to those in need. I am thinking of buying a wardrobe to put in the bedroom, so that we can move our clothes, shoes and accessories there and turning the walk-in closet into a doll room.
