**Here’s a interesting thread on my travels thru the USA. ** Some people know I spend many months travelling in my car driving ~10-20K miles per year visiting various sights and friends on the way. I also have a doll in the passenger seat…
I love camping with my gal, and it brings me joy to have her around!
**So to start off, let’s here we are camping in the eastern Sierras. ** Day’s are ~ 70F and nights dip into the 20’S at night – in June!!
**I always bring 4 things - ** a Doll, tent, good music, good smoke to keep warm on those nights!
yeah - that’s my tesla , 500hp and it’s quite a ride for a trip!
I drove it 34K miles across the US over 4 years!
Nice. That’s a sweet ride you have there, Formula 1 cars from the seventies barely had 500 HP.
Camping with dolls is something I’d recommend to all doll owners that enjoy taking photos of their gals. It’s so inspiring!
chargers are all over, and I stop every 2 hours to refill. Not so bad, but in some big cities like DFW and OKC it can be a real issue. I drove all over TX and AL without any highway driving, and what I got to see was surreal in the backwoods of those states…
Thanks, yes, the hp wars are extreme with the Tesla Plaid at 1100hp, and a 1/4 mile that will smoke any F1 car. I actually cannot handle the extreme g-force ironically, as my blood pressure is too low.
Yeah, camping is something to consider, and it takes a bit of practice to do. I have been driving all over the US, and no issues. Doing photos is so rewarding when you;re isolated from other people.
Thanks, all for asking questions.
Yeah here’s a few more pics!
These were taken this year - some are camping in AZ and UT.
The drive thru UT is surreal, when I left Grand Canyon and went to UT where it went from mid 80’s to barely 30F , and it was snowing at elevation. I am ok as I camp in a tent but sleep in the back of the SUV.
For these and future trips, I do not take the Tesla, but rather the Rav4 as it’s much better for long trips and I take 5G extra fuel just in case…
Most of the time I do not sleep in hotels if possible, and I stay at local campgrounds and BLM land
Camping with Emika and Scarlett in the Sierras was quite a joy. Even though it was June, the temps fell to 28F overnight. I slept in the Tesla as the tent was too cold, and I could run the heat in the car!
This is Scarlett, a doll I personally got from SinoDoll for photos, and named when on the trip. Her red/scarlett hair was why I named her so. SinoDoll uses that as her official name.
Back in the day, I worked for Sino for their new Top Sino releases, and have 3 of their TopSino heads.
Scarlett is a perfect companion, and here she really came alive when we camped.
Yeah, we did some crazy stuff in the woods, but who wouldn’t!
Then after a long drive, we went to a camping cabin, as the temps were a bit cold for me the night before. Scarlett warmed up the place, and of course enjoyed the opportunity for photos!
