MMX Mengfei 153 seamless - unboxing

Since I had my first Piper doll I realized how great seamless design is. At least for me I think it is ideal for photography. You don’t need to be careful about the angles and the neck gap. This leads to a very restricted choice of dolls. Besides Piper only some manufacturers have some seamless dolls.

Looking for new designs I search all kinds of sources on the interwebs and found the brand MMX. No vendor in the west has them or can provide them. Unfortunately even dollface were not able, so it was a small adventure and leap of faith to order her from some vendor I did not know before.

I had a very pleasant chat on easter sunday and discussed what I would like. The other brand I considered buying was Yuedoll. Lucky me they know my X profile and recommended MMX for photography. Order was placed April 20, Factory photos on May 13 and delivery mere two weeks later on May 27. I was very pleasantly surprised. Factory photos were not too far off from the promo photos.

The day the box arrived I could not stay at home but instead told my neighbours to get the package. They know about my dolls so no hiding necessary. They even helped me get the box into my appartment  when I came home.

Well packed, with expanding foam. Fully safe and nothing moved inside the box.
The accessories were safe and the head did not roll aroung - just joking, a seamless head is firmly attached to the body. When I removed the foam cover I had a Han Solo moment…

The accressories were the usual stuff. Gloves, USB warmer, douche, some fake nails and a wig cap. I was a little astounded, because I had ordered her with implanted hair, but that’s not a bad idea. Just in case you want to hide and protect the hair such a cap comes in handy.

On the outside of the box was a sticker for Lithium batteries, and I thought why that, I did not order a voice module or anything electric inside the doll. Happens to be a cleaning kit which I need to check out how it works. Some kind of pump and rotating rod, which is rechargeable - mystery solved. And some UV stick for disinfection inside the vagina.

But now for the doll… she’s very close to the advertized measures
bust 75 cm
underbust 62 cm
waist 58 cm
hip 87 cm
weighing in a 33 kilos. Definitely not lightweight for a doll on the smaller side, but she is so soft and squishy and her foam core is not as excessively large as the piper ones. I trust her with a lot more range of motion which is great for photography.

She has wonderful skin texture and a fantastic paint job. Veins, moles just like a real person and I had quite a few wtf moments during unboxing. On the other hand she is quite delicate and I need to take care not to cause and dents, dings or other blemishes. On close inspection I even saw small bumps on her skin and I am suspecting she’s a scan of a real person.

The skeleton is also very interesting. Different but with a good range of motion. Fingers can bend backwards. At first I thought this is a flaw but when I accidentaly bent it back I was glad it did not break. The fingers are nicely posable, the thumb can also bend up and down - more or less opposed to the fingers - not fully as a human hand but rather good. Her neck has two tilting joints. One at the lower end and one at the upper end, so a lot of realistic poses are possible. Turning the head left and right needs a bit of force but is okay.

Down under she is nicely built and the inner feels good - finger probe, but she has a bit of a gaping issue. Not too bad but that is due to her proportions being very realistic. Because she is a photo model for me this is not an issue and I most likely won’t show her posed spread eagle.

I ordered her with hard hands and feet but honestly I cannot see a transition of feel much of a transition. I Think it might be something like a harder silicone core but cannot confirm. I would not trust her to stand too long on her feet but in shoes this is totally fine. Time will tell.

Her head is also rather soft. Much softer than my piper girls and her lips are very kissable. No oral though. This would have been an option with the Yue Doll but not with MMX. The implanted synthetic hair is not bad however with the soft silicone she sheds quite some each time I comb her. It is just a question of time when she will get a wig.

I have her for almost two weeks now, she was with me at the Munich doll meet and she is a fantastic model. She’s the most real doll I have and has spoilt the experience with my other dolls which look so doll like compared to her. I expect her to blink or say hi any moment.

Any questions? Feel free to ask.

Nice review, Lina is quite remarkable in her realism :+1:

Awesome babe! Congrats Poppy! :beers:

Nice choice. Looks super real. Is there an option to have a hard head? How many faces can you pick from?

Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the great review. Mengfei is lovely. hopefully we will see more vendors offer MMX in the future.

If I am not mistaken there is a choice of four heads, as of now. They offer more heads and bodies but only the 153 is seamless. Mostly Chinese inspired rather realistic heads.

No idea if they offer hard heads on seamless bodies. I had not seen the option.

Do you think having short hair is better to keep the hair from coming loose on the head? Is the quality good in your estimation.

I am no expert about hair implants, but I think it is okay quality. The price tag for the implanted hair option was not too steep. Shorter hair might help, a harder scalp even more. It is always a fight soft vs hard.

Welcome to LDN!

This second clip shows the soft butt upgrade. Did you get that version? It looks a bit fragile.

How is the softness? I got a factory vid and this is the default softness. What is your opinion? Can it get damaged easily in your opinion?

Yes she is soft and you need to take care of her. The silicone is soft and there is no need for a soft butt option in my opinion. She feels realistic and I personally like it very much. Definitely a doll you need to take care of.

how about the mold-seamlines on the body ? Are they visual or virtually non-existing ?

They are extremely good. Almost invisible and you really have to look closely to spot them.

zoom in on the shoulder. This is an unedited picture from the camera.

I did not take the picture to show the seamlines, but for other reasons, so there are some out of focus areas, however you can see how good the seamlines are

Yes, I agree, Those are some of the finest seam lines I’ve seen on a silicone doll :+1: :revolving_hearts:

Looking at the abscence of seam lines, this is almost like GYNOID quality I would say (?)
