Doing indoor shoots for me is quite the challenge because the surfaces are all nonreflective and requires more light. So for this (hack) upgrade I bought a cheap set of 20 x 27 inch softbox lights with a single socket (set of 2 with stands$39.99)
and changed the bulbs to deformable Garage lights.($7 a bulb)
The results are amazing its like having 2 mini quasars at my disposal giving off more than 4x the light than before. For less than $30 a light.
