What, if any, are you using for your dolls' foot protection?

These foot bolts with plastic sheathing. Reduces the risk of the foot bolts cutting into TPE or scratching the floor. Also put strong tape on the top parts to avoid the sharp plastic bits damaging the TPE. (The only silicone doll I ever had came with boltless feet so no idea how they’d work for silicone). For all dolls, socks and soft sports shoes on top, unless something nicer is needed for photography.

Grand, thank you. This place is a treasure trove of tips, so glad I asked!

You should also be able to find furniture bolts in the right size, usually they’re black and similar to cartridge bolts but have an Allen drive in them instead of the plain dome.

Which makes putting them in easier, of course. Thank you.

Shoe sizes, my girls usually get UK size 3,US size 5 which is around EU 35 or 36 from memory.

Thank you, that confirms my measuring and locating a size table from CM to Eu-sizes.

If I don’t use anything then I put soft, white hand towels down and they stand on those barefoot.

But generally, I use ‘no-show’ socks or shoe-liners, with either ballet shoes or ballet-flat shoes.

My tpe girls all wear socks and shoes plus they have bolts similar to these. Not the best looking option but i rarely show the soles of their feet

That’s sort of what my girls have too. They destroy the socks like champions! LOL!
