FunWest FWD072-036 European Lily - STPE
I have been given the honour of reviewing one of FunWest’s STPE dolls, FWD072-036 162F. FunWest sent 2 heads : European Lily with moveable eyelids, and a standard Rose to me gratis to write this review and take photos for promotion on social media. The doll I received includes features that have an extra cost involved and I feel that they are worth it.
This review is a combination of facts and my opinions based on my experience of this doll.

Rose Introducing Rose: The Newest FunWestDoll Sensation - FunWestDoll
Unboxing.
Feel free to skip past this section but I have included it for anyone interested in how securely FunWest package their dolls ready for shipping.
The box is a sturdy double-walled corrugated cardboard box, it had clearly been opened by customs and sealed back up securely, there was no damage to the box or contents.
Plenty of bubble packaging aided in keeping everything in place along with closed-cell polyethylene foam sheets for the base, sides and shoulder restraints. MDF panels also protected the contents from any knocks or bumps.
A fluffy blanket was wrapped around the doll with the heads safe and secure between the legs.
A care package was included containing a certificate of authenticity, a nightie, a user manual, white gloves, USB heater, a douche a quick release neck bolt and a comb.
The skeleton and body.
The skeleton is sturdy and all of the joints are as stiff as I would expect from a new doll, but move smoothly and hold poses perfectly.
The neck has front-to-back and side-to-side joints allowing a decent range of motion, great for photography and adding a ball-jointed neck bolt gives all the head positions you could possibly want, even without there is plenty of scope for posing.
Shrugging shoulders are a selectable option which move up and down, forwards and backwards. They work very well to the point that the doll can shrug higher than would be natural so more than enough for photography. The manual states that the upper arms can move about 120 degrees forward and 45 degrees backwards, I would say they can move more than that but to protect the STPE I would suggest not pushing past the recommended limits. The forearms can be rotated at the elbow and bent to the point where the wrist can meet the shoulder at its fullest extent.
The torso twists well with side-to-side and front-to-back joints and holds all positions well, the hips allow spreading of the legs and movement of the legs forwards and backwards although spreading them too far or for too long has the potential for damage due to overstretching.
The wrists can bend 90 degrees up and down and side to side along with rotation, the articulated fingers are an excellent extra, they bend nicely at the joints and are tight enough to hold objects and hold poses without any problems, and can be spread sideways just like a human, but care must be taken with consideration to the possibility of finger pokes in the same way you would with wired fingers.
The hands have very detailed lines on the palms and the fleshy pads close to the fingers, painted veins on the wrists and raised & painted veins on the back of the hands are a very nice feature.
