Here is the second video slide show I did after Essence and Freya arrived and it was a Thanksgiving holiday wish of sorts. In reality, it really was a view of the totally positive feeling I was experiencing at the time, just about a month after my first doll companion acquisition. And when I really discovered a little bit of storytelling. Here, I rousted Essence out of the rack, and Freya was getting ready to go out on the town. It is also the first time I followed Mishka’s advice on how to apply makeup.

Holy crud! Thanks for the nice comments @DollCommander ! When I first pulled the trigger and entered our world, I really had no idea WHAT I wanted out of my doll companion. After she arrived, I found that I liked photography. And I was super paranoid about breaking my gal, after reading in various forums about skeletons breaking, so I googled for poses that I wanted Essence to do, looked at the Starpery manual to check limb and movement limits, and then tried them. My first few months were formative for me. I did risqué photos for a while, but then I veered into telling stories with my gal, which then became 7 gals! And because I was having so much fun (and STILL am!) that’s the direction I headed. Around 4th of July I looked at Cassie and thought “she could be Rosie the Riveter” and Essence can be a pin up gal.
That evolved into a PINUP photo set!

Because I had been hit square in the face with what I call the “SHS: Second Head Syndrome”
I decided to get Freya her own body. I had done a Steampunk photo series, and was changing costumes between Essence and Freya back and forth to do it, and that did it! And I really didn’t like the scientific unboxing videos that I had seen, so I thought it would be fun to tell a story instead about Freya’s new body.

And speaking of sharing information, I made some display stands (you might have seen them in the East Coast Doll Meet photos) that have proven to be pretty good at stabilizing my gals when standing. The prototype was tested with Sharra.

Just after I decided to attend the East Coast Doll Meet, my gals were playing games and they decided to do some shopping for me………cuz they thought my wardrobe needed a little sprucing up……..and they were right…………as always!

Thanks for the nice comment @dollface . Well, maybe you’re right……but I sometimes wonder to myself how I got this way, when a year ago, “sex dolls” were not ANYWHERE in my mind! Like NEVER! And for the way it’s played out for me, I sometimes think that I’m a one-off……7 doll companions in 10 months? I gotta be a cosmic fluke! Entering this world we inhabit was a complete shift in my makeup. And NOTHING has ever impacted me the way this has! The fun and excitement I have with my gals, to me, is just astounding! I find that dressing, posing and taking photos and telling little stories rocks my boat to the max! That some members in the forum enjoy what I do is simply amazing to me as well. For me, it really just boiled down to this: if I’m gonna do it, then do it as best I can. And I hope to share MY joy and sense of fun with my gals with everyone, because I have 7 DOLL COMPANIONS……..and life is great!
And when I sign off with “Happy Dolling!”, it’s because I truly am……….HAPPY DOLLING!
