I have seen that this group has had a positive reaction to my……….fixation?…..well, enjoyment, anyway! with the Steampunk angle. Last January I posted some photos of Essence and Sharra in a photo set, and put some dialogue in the photos. The positive reaction amazed me, and the requests for more caused me to do a Steampunk series. I named it “Steampunk: Gears, Fears and Cheers”.
So I wil post the first 3 episodes here, and if you like them, I will post the remainder of the series. This was the first time I combined storytelling, and when I learned how to animate my gals and include select videos to include. Also where I learned how to compress whatever I created and not make it look like crap!
This is also the time when I developed the gals backstories, and signicantly, when Cassie became a Scottish lass who enjoyed her tankards of ale!
And last, this is when my gals became 100% my DOLL COMPANIONS!
Hope you like it as much as I had fun making them!

Thanks for watching! I will add that doing this series was a butt kicker! Essence and Freya shared a body, as did Sharra and Cassie. Thus, cementing in my brain……..THEY WOULD GET THEIR OWN BODIES!

Thank you @quillurion for the nice comments! At the time, I was only three months or so from having these gals in my life. And I was still amazed at the positive response they were getting, and that I was getting for doing this stuff! That little themed photo set took on a life of its own! I only had Essence, with Freya the second head, Sharra, with Cassie the second head, and Tami my fully loose skeleton doll at the time. I had NO clue what I was getting into when I decided to do the series! I had to do little story boards to make sure I had the photos of all the characters taken, then put in the right sequence. Yet ANOTHER thing I learned to do! I think I remember posting something when I concluded the series………”Hope you all enjoyed it. And thank GOD it’s done!” But it WAS so much fun to do! I learned TONS about posing my gals, and the linear actuator stands I had made proved to be ok, but not really a good solution.
But I’m glad I did it…….it was a marathon, but it was just so much FUN!

I’m not surprised you got a lot of applause. The videos are so well done and fun, the ladies themselves and their dress-up are fabulous.
Compared to that my Isabella and Roisin thread and my Hilda thread are barely visible (but I’m proud of them anyway!)
Maybe I can learn a trick of two from you.

I really appreciate the nice comments @quillurion ! And in my opinion, we take photos and make video slideshows of our gals because it make US happy! Your gals shine, because, again in my opinion, your genuine commitment to them and this world we inhabit are clear! That’s why I did it……not for applause………because I went all in on interacting with my gals the way I wanted to! That anyone else liked them was WAY in the back second to me!
As far as teaching anything…………well, you’re askin’ for tips from a mechanic on how to cook! 
I plodded through learning this stuff, ALL of which was brand new to me, and got lucky on some things, and stepped on my dick on others! 
That I got it done is a minor miracle all by itself! My thought is………..if you’re having fun, then you are doing it right! And I am having a frikkin’ BLAST!
And I WILL be checking out your threads now that I know about them. Like Cassie says….”for certain sure laddie!”

I know what you say, sir. If you’d try to do that just for applause, your heart wouldn’t be in it. Same here. When i get pictures of my girls, it’s because I think they’re beautiful and deserve to be photographed. And for a cooking mechanic 
you really did some amazing plodding. It’s wonderful to see what we can learn when we really want something done from ‘within’.

Got back from the Scottish Festival, and it was a fun time! Watched some games, and listened to pipes and drums.
